Before the Bog God [PDF]

In Before the Bog God, two players take turns crafting a narrative while asymmetrically manipulating a dice puzzle: the Wisher, who seeks a powerful wish; and the Old God, who eagerly responds to the ritual that summoned it. 

This is a world-building game of discovery, typically played with zero preparation of backstories or characters. With each roll of the dice, you learn more about the characters you play and the world they inhabit.

It can be played on its own or layered onto other TTRPGs to lend mechanical clarity to roleplay-heavy scenes where eager mortals try to outwit cosmic entities.
